Google says no special files or schema are needed. The work is the website itself. Here is what 151 working shop sites in the 194-shop study lacked. These are website numbers, not AI tests.

Is SEO dead now with AI?
No. Google says the best practices for SEO remain relevant for AI features in Google Search, and that there are no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode.
Do I need special schema or an AI text file?
Google says no special schema.org structured data is needed, and no AI text files. LocalBusiness schema was on 48 of 151 shop sites (32%) and showed no clear effect on map position in our study.
What does ChatGPT search need from my website?
OpenAI says sites that are opted out of OAI-SearchBot will not be shown in ChatGPT search answers. It recommends allowing OAI-SearchBot in your site's robots.txt file.
What does it cost?
