What 194 shops showed about DTF
Only 9 of 151 map shops' sites were in the top 20 for "dtf printing <town>", against 21 for "custom t shirts <town>" and 19 for "screen printing <town>". Only 10 of 151 working sites had a DTF page.
The shops at the top of the map have more reviews. The top 3 on Google Maps for "screen printing" have a median of 29.5 Google reviews, against 20 at #4 to #10. That is a raw comparison, not proof that reviews earn the rank.

Reviews that mention the work were the strongest result in the study, clear in all 3 searches I pulled, and DTF was among the words counted. I show you how to ask, so each review says what you printed. I also keep your profile name honest and your details matching everywhere.

I build a page just for DTF printing on your site, with your town on it. Shops with a page for a service showed up in Google's normal results for it 2.5 to 5 times as often (small numbers, other factors not held fixed). A new website is included if your current site needs replacing.

Do I need a separate DTF page on my website?
Yes: only 10 of 151 working sites had a DTF page. A page for a service got a site into normal results for it 2.5 to 5 times as often, measured on screen printing, embroidery, hoodies and team shirts. DTF pages were too few to prove it for DTF on its own.
